Status Is Poison
This concept is a hard sell. And yet I’ll ask you to look at the definition of status and think about it for the space of just a few breaths. Does it not set every person against every other person?
Status: a person’s condition, position, or standing relative to that of others.
Is it not true that this automatically creates division and conflict? Does it not force us to think of each other through a lens of of position, hierarchy, and dominance?
And please don’t think ditching status is impossible, because most of us do it pretty well among our family and friends.
Please try to believe that the obvious is at least possible.

SO WHAT !
We tend to judge the status of people by the cards they are dealt, rather than by how well the cards are played. Good character gets confused with good fortune.
